Hands-On Music at your school!
Hands-On Music is a 12-week after-school piano program offered at a variety of elementary schools throughout DeKalb, Hall, and Gwinnett County. Each participating school can be found in the registration list below. The program is designed to make music education accessible, engaging, and fun for elementary-aged students!
It started with a handful of students.
Hands-On Music began as a small after-school general music club with just a handful of students and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of making music, regardless of their family's musical background or ability to invest in expensive private lessons.
Today, Hands-On Music has grown into a complete after-school Group Piano program serving students across multiple elementary schools throughout North Georgia. While we've expanded, our mission has remained exactly the same: to provide high-quality, engaging music education that is accessible, affordable, and fun.

No extra driving. No extra shopping.
Families are busy. Between school, sports, homework, and other activities, adding music lessons can feel overwhelming. Hands-On Music was designed to make learning piano as simple and convenient as possible.
Our classes take place immediately after school, eliminating the need to drive across town for evening lessons. Students learn in a familiar environment with classmates and are ready for pickup when class ends.
We've also removed the hassle of purchasing materials. Every enrolled student receives a FREE Student Starter Package with everything needed to begin learning from the very first lesson.
Our online practice platform makes it easy for students to continue learning at home with guided activities that reinforce each week's lesson.
Every student's starter package includes:

Rather than relying on pre-made curriculum or off-the-shelf materials, we developed every component of the program ourselves. Our team wrote the curriculum, designed and produced our student method books, created the classroom games and activities, and carefully selected and customized the keyboards included in every Student Starter Package.
Because we design every aspect of the program ourselves, we're able to continually refine and improve it based on feedback from students, teachers, and families.
Simple, transparent pricing.
Tuition covers 12 weekly after-school piano lessons at $25 per lesson, for a total of $300. A $15 one-time registration fee helps cover enrollment and class preparation. Families may pay in full at registration or spread tuition into multiple, manageable payments.
No additional books to purchase, no keyboard to shop for, and no guessing about what your child needs. Everything is ready from the very first day of class.
